bernard & bernie might just be bffs

Bernard is turning into quite the social butterfly. Today I found him playing with Birdie, and neither dog could care less about anyone else around them. Not other dogs, and certainly not the humans.

[Bernard and Birdie frolic (in mind: insert daisies for sand).]

[Bernard and Birdie do their best WWF impression.]

[Megan says it's time for Birdie to take a break. I think Birdie's tongue agrees.]

I wish i could see the morning sessions that Bernard has, although i usually get the detailed report from Roma. Thanks for posting the pics! He's now on my desktop at work.

Video would be great! My dog Lucy, Bernard's cousin, (he he he) wishes that she could run on dog beach. Our dog parks her in PA are a joke and nothing compared to the sandbox Bernard gets to play in daily! :)

About This Blog

San Diego's Dog Beach (in Ocean Beach) is the original leash-free dog beach. It's a stretch of sand and ocean that is one big 24-hour playground for canines and humans. This unique place is home to many, and a special trip for others. There is always a story to tell. I'm lucky enough to visit Dog Beach nearly every day, and this blog is my way of sharing a wonderful place with anyone who loves dogs, the beach, or both.

I'm a PR gun for hire that spends much of my day tied to the computer or iPhone. After moving to San Diego from the Midwest 14 years ago, I never looked back. I found my home. My home office is only a mile away from the Pacific Ocean, which allows me to enjoy mornings at San Diego's most excellent leash-free beach with my dogs. Social and exercise time for all of us.
