tempest may have been faking it; riptide to the rescue

Crazy sky today. Still warm, but the sun was nestled behind the blanket of clouds. Tempest had the slightest of limps this morning, so she was able to join us. I'm so embarrassed. Such an overprotective mother!

[A couple of Huskies and others "discuss" who is going to walk away from this with the seaweed in their mouth.]

[Riptide to the rescue! "Hey guys. I've got an idea!"]

It takes more than a ferocious dog-biting spider to keep a good Frenchie down!

Cool sky....hope the sun burnt through for you :o) Haha, it's easy to be overprotective when they're your babies! Glad she's feeling better today. Our lot frequently have "discussions" over seaweed, you wouldn't think the beach was fullof the stuff!
Slobbers xx

The sky does look a little weird in the pics! I wish we had more over-protective mothers like you in this world....for their dogs!!

About This Blog

San Diego's Dog Beach (in Ocean Beach) is the original leash-free dog beach. It's a stretch of sand and ocean that is one big 24-hour playground for canines and humans. This unique place is home to many, and a special trip for others. There is always a story to tell. I'm lucky enough to visit Dog Beach nearly every day, and this blog is my way of sharing a wonderful place with anyone who loves dogs, the beach, or both.

I'm a PR gun for hire that spends much of my day tied to the computer or iPhone. After moving to San Diego from the Midwest 14 years ago, I never looked back. I found my home. My home office is only a mile away from the Pacific Ocean, which allows me to enjoy mornings at San Diego's most excellent leash-free beach with my dogs. Social and exercise time for all of us.
