it snowed at the beach!
Okay, so it wasn't really snow. But abundance of foam from the stormy sea certainly resembled that lovely cold stuff that's great to ski on. The dogs (and humans) were most intrigued...
Kurt (L) and John, too. Well, don't think they were sniffing, but definitely checking it out. That's Fetch checking out Kurt's handy work.

Now THAT really does look like snow! Here in Upstate NY we are getting the real thing....and I hate it!
And we're just over the line in Connecticut and getting it too.. my little dogs are not happy with the coldness and the wetness..and Big Ben is loving life.
Great pics of the foam, that's amazing, never seen anything like it.
Isn't that crazy? One of the regulars, Al, says it has something to do with proteins from the ocean (I'm sure, combined with the fast winds and hard surf). Perfect example of why I need to bring the camera with me on every visit.
Great pictures! This foam is very interesting phenomenon. I have never seen anything like that. It would be fun to ski on it.
I have never seen that! Wow, that's intense! We kept meaning to go check out the high surf and such (not with the dog, just for us new Californians) -- I can't wait to take Dahlia into snow in Utah. She'll have a ton of fun.
